神楽坂路上界隈 城端曳山祭〈庵唄〉

富山県南砺市の城端に伝わった江戸端唄は、その地の城端曳山祭（じょうはなひきやままつり）で「庵唄（いおりうた）」として300年もの間唄い継がれ、独自の文化として今に継承されています。その「庵唄」が江戸へ里帰り。城端の若連中が曳山祭の雰囲気そのままに、神楽坂の裏路地を三味線と笛、唄声と共に練り歩きます。

The “Edo-Hauta” music that were passed down in Johana, a district of Nanto City in Toyama Prefecture, have been sung for over 300 years as “Iori Uta” during the Johana Hikiyama Festival. These songs have been preserved as a unique local cultural tradition. Now, the Iori Uta return to their roots in Edo. Young men from Johana will parade through the back alleys of Kagurazaka, recreating the vibrant atmosphere of the Hikiyama Festival with shamisen, flutes, and singing voices.
