能舞台「矢来能楽堂」(国登録有形文化財)でいざなわれる芸能への扉。第一部は「“今さら聞けない”シリーズ」として、箏曲の二大流派・生田流と山田流を聴き比べ。アンバサダーのロバート キャンベル氏がその違いを深掘りします。第二部は、観世九皐会による能「敦盛」を解説と共にお届けします。

Step into the world of traditional performing arts at Yarai Noh Theater, a nationally registered Tangible Cultural Property. In the first part, as part of the “Too late to ask” series, audiences will experience a comparison of Japan’s two major Koto schools—Ikuta-ryu and Yamada-ryu. The festival’s ambassador Robert Campbell will delve into their differences. The second part features a performance of the Noh play “Atsumori” by Kanze Kyuko-kai, accompanied by insightful commentary.
